The lights are up on the boat--the Keelhauler and I just spent twenty minutes testing them and replacing bad bulbs. We got LED lights, which are more efficient but god-awfully bright. I kept holding up the box of lights shaped like snowflakes, alternating blue and white, which makes for maximum non-denominationality but minimum practicality. Still, it's an improvement over last year, when I, unsupervised, strung up yards of big glass bulbs, only to have them shatter all over the deck.
